The prerequisite for success of any global B2B exhibition is its ability to bring together quality buyers and sellers to create meaningful mutually beneficial business opportunities. The Minister of State (I/C) for Tourism, K. J. Alphons had same objective in mind as he had announced on 9th July 2018 that the Tourism Ministry in partnership with the Federation of Associations in Indian Tourism and Hospitality (FAITH) and with the support of State /UT Governments will organise the ‘first ever’ India Tourism Mart (ITM) from 16th to 18th September, 2018 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
“The objective of the event is to create an annual Global Tourism Mart for India in line with major international travel marts being held in countries across the world. The Mart will provide a platform for all stakeholders in the tourism and hospitality industries to interact and transact business opportunities, ” Alphons had added.
To ensure that quality business opportunity emerge at the India Travel Mart 2018- FAITH, the umbrella association of 10 travel trade association, is leaving no stone unturned to bring together only genuine foreign buyers to interact with as many Indian sellers as possible.
“India Tourism Mart 2018 (read International Tourism Mart 2018) has canceled over 300 fake registrations and puts out irressistible offers for India exhibitors Greetings to everyone on the behalf of Mr. Vivek Sethi I would add on it is purely B2B event in association with MOT and FAITH. FAITH has rejected more than 300 requests in the selection committee held 2 days back due to fake registration of the buyers,” said ITM2018 communique on a social media query.
