Andhra Pradesh ups demand building for Tourism with ADTOI-2017 and IATO-2018 conventions as Vizag eye best Beach Destination title from Goa and Amravati Wellness Tag from Kerala

Andhra Pradesh under the leadership of Chief Minister N Chandra Babu Naidu is determined to retain its leadership position as the most preferred tourist destination. As part of the tourism department of Andhra Pradesh’s vision document to promote steady and sustained growth phase of the travel and tourism sector and making the destinations more accessible, more attractive with many facilities and amenities for the tourists worldwide- Andhra Pradesh has roped in the domestic tour operators body and the inbound tour operators association.

The ADTOI convention to be marked open today evening by the Chief Minister himself speaks volumes about the interest the state has in promoting its destination to the domestic tourists and truly promote Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat campaign. According to Meeta Rama Rao, OSD, AP, It’s essential to get to know the diversity of our country. Andhra Pradesh is keen that through the  2017 convention of Association of Domestic Tour Operator (ADTOI), the state gets to showcase its diverse offerings to people from all corners of our country.

Echoing similar sentiments, PP Khanna, President, ADTOI- says that ADTOI is determined to promote Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat and bring to the domestic tourists hosts of new attractions. in the present case, Andhra Pradesh has vast geographical area combined with great historical and cultural heritage, which are excellent conditions for more growth in Tourism sector. One of the best kept secret of Andhra Pradesh tourism is Vizag, which has potential to rise as India’s finest beach destination on lines of Goa.

Visakhapatnam, which is popularly referred to as Vizag, is a port city, located along the shores of Bay of Bengal and is headquarters to the Eastern Naval Command of the Indian Navy. Its renowned as an industrial city, although Vizag has a rich and vibrant culture and heritage. The city was part of the ancient Kalinga Empire and was ruled by renowned kings, such as Ashoka and Krishnadeva Raya. During the 18th century, the city was a Dutch colony. Today, Vizag embraces its past and present seamlessly, making it an interesting and attractive city to spend holidays. Vizag is blessed with natural beauty, with hill ranges, pristine beaches along its coastline and lush, natural valleys. Araku Valley at a height of 3,200 feet in the midst of the hills of Anantagiri. Likewise, it its pursuit of catching on similar demand building measure, Andhra Pradesh Tourism has already roped in another bigger convention of Indian Association of Tours Operators (IATO), which is scheduled for 2018 and was announced in Odisha.
